Height Of Superstitions: MP Minister Hoping For A Heavy Monsoon Just Organised A Wedding For Two Frogs

Height Of Superstitions: MP Minister Hoping For A Heavy Monsoon Just Organised A Wedding For Two Frogs
India is the land of superstitious beliefs and here not only uneducated people but also some Ministers have seen diving their nose deep without any doubt. Recently, a similar example has come in front of us like marrying off two frogs for the heavy monsoon.
BJP minister from Madhya Pradesh has organized a big fat wedding of two frogs to please the rain gods. Well, this move as obviously grabbed all the negative and harsh words from the opposition party.
Minister of state for the woman and child development Lalita Yadav hosted the wedding as she believes it to be a ‘logical tradition’  as well as a few other local Bharatiya Janata Party leaders. In the festival, there are hundreds of people gathered to witness the ‘marriage.’
While talking to the media, she defends her move by saying, “it was a logical tradition and not superstition to balance the environment which is made up of five elements.”
She also said: “Bundelkhand region in the state was under the grip of drought for the last couple of years as the environment was not happy and the draught was a result of “disturbance in the environment. Our forefather would organize such religious rituals at the temple to “please the gods.”
Well, Congress left no chance to win, Congress leader Chhattarpur Alok Chaturvedi said, “instead of wasting efforts in organizing events, it would have been better for the minister to help provide drinking water in the region.”
Talking to leading daily he also said:”It’s an attempt to divert people’s attention in the name of religion and old tradition. It would have been better if she had used this time and energy to solve people’s problems. I, through my own means, supply around 50-100 water tankers in various parts of Chhattarpur city every day.”
